VkPhysicalDeviceIndexTypeUint8FeaturesKHR
Structure describing whether uint8 index type can be used
The VkPhysicalDeviceIndexTypeUint8FeaturesKHR
structure is defined as:
typedef struct VkPhysicalDeviceIndexTypeUint8FeaturesKHR {
VkStructureType sType;
void* pNext;
VkBool32 indexTypeUint8;
} VkPhysicalDeviceIndexTypeUint8FeaturesKHR;
or the equivalent
typedef VkPhysicalDeviceIndexTypeUint8FeaturesKHR VkPhysicalDeviceIndexTypeUint8FeaturesEXT;
This structure describes the following feature:
sType
is a VkStructureType value identifying this structure.pNext
isNULL
or a pointer to a structure extending this structure.-
indexTypeUint8
indicates thatVK_INDEX_TYPE_UINT8_KHR
can be used with vkCmdBindIndexBuffer2KHR and vkCmdBindIndexBuffer.
If the VkPhysicalDeviceIndexTypeUint8FeaturesKHR
structure is included in the pNext
chain of the
VkPhysicalDeviceFeatures2 structure passed to
vkGetPhysicalDeviceFeatures2, it is filled in to indicate whether each
corresponding feature is supported.
VkPhysicalDeviceIndexTypeUint8FeaturesKHR
can also be used in the pNext
chain of
VkDeviceCreateInfo to selectively enable these features.
Valid Usage (Implicit)
VUID-VkPhysicalDeviceIndexTypeUint8FeaturesKHR-sType-sType
sType
must be VK_STRUCTURE_TYPE_PHYSICAL_DEVICE_INDEX_TYPE_UINT8_FEATURES_KHR
