VkPhysicalDevicePresentTimingFeaturesEXT
Structure indicating support for present timing
The VkPhysicalDevicePresentTimingFeaturesEXT structure is defined as:
typedef struct VkPhysicalDevicePresentTimingFeaturesEXT {
VkStructureType sType;
void* pNext;
VkBool32 presentTiming;
VkBool32 presentAtAbsoluteTime;
VkBool32 presentAtRelativeTime;
} VkPhysicalDevicePresentTimingFeaturesEXT;
pub struct PhysicalDevicePresentTimingFeaturesEXT {
s_type: vk::StructureType,
p_next: *mut c_void,
present_timing: vk::Bool32, // vkGetPastPresentationTimingEXT is supported
present_at_absolute_time: vk::Bool32, // Absolute time can be used to specify present time
present_at_relative_time: vk::Bool32, // Relative time can be used to specify present duration
}
This structure describes the following feature:
sTypeis a VkStructureType value identifying this structure.pNextisNULLor a pointer to a structure extending this structure.presentTimingindicates that the implementation supportsvkGetPastPresentationTimingEXT.presentAtAbsoluteTimeindicates that the implementation supports specifying absolute target present times.presentAtRelativeTimeindicates that the implementation supports specifying relative target present times.
If the VkPhysicalDevicePresentTimingFeaturesEXT structure is included in the pNext chain of the
VkPhysicalDeviceFeatures2 structure passed to
vkGetPhysicalDeviceFeatures2, it is filled in to indicate whether each
corresponding feature is supported.
If the application wishes to use a VkDevice with any features
described by VkPhysicalDevicePresentTimingFeaturesEXT, it must add an instance of the structure,
with the desired feature members set to VK_TRUE, to the pNext
chain of VkDeviceCreateInfo when creating the VkDevice.
Valid Usage (Implicit)
VUID-VkPhysicalDevicePresentTimingFeaturesEXT-sType-sType
sType must be VK_STRUCTURE_TYPE_PHYSICAL_DEVICE_PRESENT_TIMING_FEATURES_EXT
